News Justin Guarini Will Offer From American Idol to Broadway Solo Concert “American Idol” runner up and stage actor Justin Guarini will offer a solo concert, From American Idol to Broadway, March 2 at 8 PM at the Landmark on Main Street in Port Washington, NY.

Guarini, a contestant on the first season of the reality show “American Idol,” has been seen on Broadway in American Idiot and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Last year, he starred as Roger in Surflight’s production of Rent. The former “Idol” contestant is also scheduled to be a part of an upcoming new musical entitled The Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, which features music and lyrics by John Mellencamp, book by Stephen King and musical direction by T. Bone Burnett.

In anticipation of his concert, Guarini recently conducted a master class at Landmark Jan. 25 in which he talked about his “American Idol” journey and Broadway experiences.
