For four nights only, performance artists Karen Finley will attempt to get Off-Off-Broadway audiences to respond to her entreaty, Shut Up and Love Me. Finley's latest piece will play at P.S. 122 Oct. 6,7, 13 and 14, a return visit of her stint there in November 1999.

Finley will forever and fondly be remembered as the most famous of the "NEA 4," a quartet of edgy performance artists who had their government funding withdrawn during the censorious Reagan years, and subsequently fought the decision in court.

Finley has done well by her misfortune, sometimes integrating her adventures in Washington, D.C, as well as her most furious detractors, into her solo work. Recent Finley titles have included The American Chestnut and The Return of The Chocolate Smeared Woman.

Tickets are $20. P.S. 122 is located at 150 First Avenue in Manhattan. For more information, call (212) 477-5288.
