Cabaret star Karen Mason closes at San Francisco’s Plush Room on Nov. 12. Mason’s engagement followed a well-received, six-week engagement at Arci’s Place in New York City. Since then, Mason embarked on a series of dates that will eventually take her to the Algonquin in New York with lyricist Alan Bergman (Nov. 28 - Dec. 2), back to Arci’s Place with her Christmas show (Dec. 3 - 4) and finally to Davenport’s in Chicago (Dec. 6 - 10).
Mason will appear with John McDaniel and the St. Louis Symphony on Dec. 15 -17 at Powell Symphony Hall in St. Louis.
Familiar as Glenn Close’s understudy in Sunset Boulevard, Mason is also starring in the award-winning short film by Joseph Moran, “Sleeping Dogs Lie."
