News Karen Mason Concert Taping Postponed The New Jersey Performing Arts Center has postponed the filming of Karen Mason's upcoming concerts at the Newark, NJ, venue.

NJN (New Jersey Public Television & Radio) had planned to record Mason's sold-out Timeless concerts March 31 in The Chase Room of the Arts Center. Due to the concerns of the Arts Center's house manager regarding New Jersey fire laws, the taping will be rescheduled.

Mason told Playbill.com, "We are working with PBS to try and find another date and time for the taping. Everyone is still determined to make this happen, which is a good thing! The bad thing is that it will not be this Saturday."

Timeless marks Mason's fourth consecutive year at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's Chase Room.

Mason's Timeless concerts feature direction by Barry Kleinbort and musical direction by pianist Christopher Denny. Jered Egan will also be featured on bass. The latter was penned by Mason's husband, Paul Rolnick.
