Golden Stage Records has released Len Cariou Presents: These Are My Friends, a compilation of Broadway songs and reminiscences recorded by a mix of theatre favorites, including Karen Mason, Liz Callaway, Lee Roy Reams, Judy Kaye, and others.

Golden Stage Records was started by Syd Butler, who co-produced the new recording with Tony winner Len Cariou.

In April 2015 Butler and Cariou asked 11 Broadway artists to perform two songs of their choosing, with a trio of piano, bass, and drums. Following the performance the performers participated in an on-camera Q&A regarding their choice of songs and how they related to their career. The event was recorded live at The Cutting Room nightclub in Manhattan.

The track listing for the subsequent CD, which features 13 of these songs, follows:

“My Friends” performed by Len Cariou (written by Stephen Sondheim)
“The Secret Service” performed by Anita Gillette (Irving Berlin)
“All That Jazz” performed by Karen Mason (John Kander and Fred Ebb)
“That's Life” performed by Holt McCallany (Dean Kay, Kelly L. Gordon)
“Since You Stayed Here” performed by Liz Callaway (Josh Rubins, Peter Larson)
“Lucky To Be Me” performed by Judy Kaye (Leonard Bernstein, Betty Comden, Adolph Green)
“The Woman for the Man Who Has Everything” (originally “You're the Woman for the Man”) performed by Penny Fuller (Lee Adams, Charles Strouse)
“It’s Today” performed by Lee Roy Reams (Jerry Herman)
“Our Love is Here to Stay” performed by Len Cariou (George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin)
“One Halloween” performed by Penny Fuller (Lee Adams, Charles Strouse)
“Don't Blame Me” performed by Lee Roy Reams (Jimmy McHugh, Dorothy Fields)
“Music and the Mirror” performed by Liz Callaway (Marvin Hamlisch, Edward Kleban)
“Little Lamb” performed by Sami Gayle (Stephen Sondheim, Jule Styne)

The recording can be purchased on iTunes.
