On. Aug. 8 Mason and Kenney will co-host an evening at Dillon's Supper Club that is devoted to the work of the late composer-lyricist Cole Porter. Among the singers who will perform during the live-remote radio broadcast are Phillip Officer, Mary Foster Conklin, The Accidentals, Goldie Dver and Valentine Ryder. The Barry Levitt Trio will also be on hand for the Porter salute. The evening will also include Porter tunes performed (on record) by Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, Billie Holiday, Sammy Davis Jr., Bobby Darin, Peggy Lee, Jo Stafford, Tony Bennett, Dick Haymes, Ella Fitzgerald, Kay Starr, Billy Eckstine and Steve and Edyie. Upcoming broadcasts: Aug. 15 (Cole Porter tribute, part two), Aug. 22 (to be announced) and Aug. 29 (an interview with Karrin Allyson).

A star of the musical theatre and cabaret stage, Karen Mason has appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard, Jerome Robbins' Broadway and Torch Song Trilogy. Her Off-Broadway credits include And the World Goes 'Round and Carnival, and she has also been seen on the small screen in "Law & Order" and "As the World Turns." A six-time MAC Award-winning performer, Mason has charmed audiences at Carnegie Hall, Rainbow & Stars, Davenport's and L.A.'s The Cinegrill. Her solo recordings include "When the Sun Comes Out," "Not So Simply Broadway" and "Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!"
