Tony Award nominee Kate Burton will direct Orlando Bloom, Malcolm McDowell and Matthew Rhys in the Los Angeles Philharmonic's all-Tchaikovsky concerts in March.

The concerts, which will be simulcast live in theatres across the U.S., will highlight Tchaikovsky's "Fantasy Overtures," inspired by Shakespeare's Hamlet, The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet. Gustavo Dudamel will conduct.

Prior to each musical presentation, the actors will offer poems and selections from the respective works. Bloom will read Romeo, McDowell will read Prospero and Rhys will read Hamlet.

The concerts will take place March 10 and 11 at 8 PM; and March 12 and 13 at 2 PM at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The in-theatre simulcasts will include interviews with Dudamel, musicians, rehearsal footage and a live post-concert Q&A with Dudamel.
