The annual Williamstown Theatre Festival Gala — Dec. 3 at the Puck Building in Manhattan — honors Broadway actress Kate Burton, a longtime associate of the Massachusetts theatre.

Among those scheduled to be part of the evening are Brooks Ashmanskas, Becky Ann Baker, Dylan Baker, Mark Blum, Dashiell Eaves, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jane Kaczmarek, Nathan Lane, Andrea Martin, Debra Monk, Lynn Redgrave, Jessica Stone, and Carol Woods as well as the Festival's new artistic director, Nicholas Martin.

The evening, which will include a live and silent auction, begins at 6:30 PM.

In 2002 Kate Burton received dual Tony nominations: Best Actress in a Play for Hedda Gabler and Best Featured Actress in a Play for The Elephant Man. Burton has also appeared on Broadway in The Constant Wife, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, An American Daughter, Company, Jake's Women, Some Americans Abroad, Wild Honey, Doonesbury, Alice in Wonderland and Present Laughter. Her screen credits include "Celebrity," "Ice Storm," "First Wives Club" and "August."

Burton was most recently seen at Williamstown in a production of Emlyn Williams' The Corn Is Green.
