Lauren Cohn will also appear in the show, which will be directed by Don Amendiola with music direction by Doug Oberhamer. Audiences can expect to hear songs from City of Angels, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Light in the Piazza, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Wicked.

According to press notes, Dawson "transforms her worst enemy (herself) into a hilarious, unseen (but heard) other character" as she and her alter ego "battle it out through song and witty banter."

Her musical theatre credits include A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden and in Wonderful Town in Los Angeles.

A CD of the show will be available for purchase at the Duplex performances for $15. An official release party for the CD will take place Jan. 30.

The Duplex is located at 61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue. There is a $10 cover charge plus a two-drink minimum. For tickets, call (212) 255-5438 or visit theduplex.com.
