News Kate Mulgrew and Kenneth Lonergan Will Be Honored by GTG; Patrick Page Will Perform Gingold Theatrical Group, which is under the leadership of David Staller, will honor actress and GTG/Project Shaw alum Kate Mulgrew and award-winning playwright Kenneth Lonergan at its annual Golden Shamrock Gala.

The annual gala will be held March 16 at 3 West Club, located at 3 West 51st Street. Hosts for the evening will include Charles Busch and Robert Osborne, along with fellow co-chairs Ethan Litwin and Richard Weinberg. Patrick Page will perform.

The GTG Golden Shamrock Award is given annually for "artistic contribution to society." Past honorees include Terrence McNally, Judith Ivey, Brian Murray, Robert Osborne, Anita Jaffe and Charles Busch.

“All of us at GTG are thrilled at the opportunity to honor these two superb New Yorkers who have given their lives to making our planet a far better place,” said GTG artistic director Staller in a statement. “Both honorees have made invaluable contributions to us all with their artistry and open-hearted humanity. They’re also great fun at parties.”

A traditional Irish/American dinner will be served of corned beef and cabbage, stews, pies, puddings, ales and toasts. Musicians will also be on hand.
