Two-time Tony Award nominee and two-time Golden Globe Award winner Kathleen Turner will bring her new cabaret show, Finding My Voice, to her home turf on the West Coast in a pair of performances, 8 PM October 20 and 21 at Feinstein’s at the Nikko in San Francisco.
The Oscar nominee will lend her trademark voice to songs from the Great American songbook and will share personal anecdotes from her career in films, stage, and TV.
She is scheduled to premiere the show in Philadelphia September 25:

Turner, who supplied the voice of temptress Jessica Rabbit in the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, was nominated for Tonys in 1990 for playing Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and in 2005 for her performance as Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? opposite Bill Irwin. She also toured as Texas-based political columnist Molly Ivins in Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins, and starred in Joan Didion’s solo drama, The Year of Magical Thinking, at Arena Stage in Washington D.C.
Turner's movies include Romancing the Stone and Prizzi's Honor, each of which earned her a Golden Globe Award; Peggy Sue Got Married, which brought both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations; and Body Heat and War of the Roses, both of which earned her further Golden Globe nominations.
Turner said, “I am very excited to bring Finding My Voice to San Francisco, one of my favorite cities.”
Finding My Voice is directed by Andy Gale and designed by Ed McCarthy.
