News Kathy Brier, Kathy Deitch and Douglas Lyons Will Share Tidings of Comfort & Joy at NJ Benefit Tidings of Comfort & Joy, a benefit concert for Retreat to Broadway, a non-profit project that pairs innovative programming with live theatre, will be held Dec. 8 at Crossroads Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ.

The 7:30 PM concert will feature performances from Kathy Brier (Hairspray), Kathy Deitch (Wicked, Footloose), Sirius XM Radio's Julie James, Douglas Lyons (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Michael Mendez (Chaplin) and Marty Thomas (The Secret Garden, Xanadu, Wicked) as well as the Semi-Tones of the Princeton Girlchoir. "I could not be more thrilled for these six amazing talents to join our 2nd annual holiday benefit concert," said Brian Reavey, director and founder of Retreat to Broadway, in a statement. "Our non-profit organization launched publicly about one year ago, serving more than 350 people via 12 events and programs in the past 13 months, so it's an especially exciting time and incredible opportunity to bring people together around the holidays to support ongoing experiences of live theater and personal renewal."

All event proceeds will benefit future Retreat to Broadway programming, as well as their scholarship program that assists retreat participants who experience financial hardship.

Crossroads Theatre is located at 7 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick, NJ. Concert tickets range from $50 for general admission to $125 for premier reserved seating and VIP after party with Broadway talent, a dessert social and open bar. For tickets, visit RetreatToBroadway.com.
