Though she's due to begin a new sitcom after leaving Noise's Off, Katie Finneran, who won a Tony Award for her performance as a dumb blonde in the Broadway comedy, said she will return to Broadway very soon. As for the name of the play, however, she couldn't say. "I really can't talk about it. I'm sorry," she said. "It's something with producer Elizabeth McCann." She did mention that the project was a comedy.
McCann produced The Smell of the Kill, which ran briefly on Broadway this spring. Finneran starred in an earlier staging of the comedy at the Berkshire Theatre Festival.
