Also directed by Reams, the production opens in Austin, TX, Feb. 25 at the Paramount Theatre and will then play Los Angeles' Wilshire Ebell Theatre March 9-10.
The artists are backed by a 10-piece orchestra conducted on stage by David Geist, the show’s music director.
“I am honored to perform and work with two of show business’ most celebrated performers," Reams said in a recent statement. "Doin’ It For Love tells the personal stories behind the music by Kaye, Liliane, and myself. Not only do we perform the music, but we entertain the audience with stories about the entertainment world then and now. We are premiering the show in Texas and Los Angeles to give audiences the first glimpse of what is sure to become a hit with discussions of taking Doin’ It For Love to the West End and Broadway.”
The two-act show features solo numbers, duets and trios.
