Alysha has music by Marilyn Michaels and a book and lyrics by Mark Wilk and Michaels. Wilk is the son of Michaels, the comedic singing actress seen in the national tour of Funny Girl.
The upcoming readings will feature musical direction by Mark Berman and direction by Michael Parva.
The cast includes Kecia Lewis, Jennie Harney, Manuel Stark, Andrew Boyer, Kim Cea, Anthony Chatmon II, Eric Dysart, Jack Doyle, Dave Droxler, Marja Lindsey Harmon, Trent Armand Kendall, Cedric Neal, Erick Pinnick, Gerard Salvador, Desiree Rodriguez and EJ Zimmerman.
