News Kelly and Anderson to Join Cast of London's Wicked; Khadime to Return On May 11 Sam Kelly and Natalie Anderson will join the London company of Wicked, which recently celebrated its 1,000th performance at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Kelly will take over as The Wizard (from Desmond Barrrit), and Anderson will step into the role of Nessarose (succeeding Caroline Keiff). Alexia Khadime will also re-join the company as Elphaba on that date, replacing Kerry Ellis. Khadime previously took over when Ellis did a stint in the role in the Broadway production. Current cast ensemble members Alex Jessop and David Stoller will, respectively, succeed Jeremy Legat and Andy Mace as Boq and Doctor Dillamond. Dianne Pilkington (Glinda), Oliver Tompsett (Fiyero), Harriet Thorpe (Madame Morrible), Ahsleigh Gray (standby for Elphaba) and Sarah Earnshaw (standby for Glinda) have all extended their contracts.

Kelly has appeared on TV in "Porridge," "'Allo, 'Allo" and "On the Up." Onstage, he has appeared at the National Theatre in The Homecoming, War and Peace and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Anderson is best known for her role as Nurse Stella Davenport in ITV's "The Royal," which she has played since 2004. She has also starred in the BBC children's series "The Biz."
