News Kelly Stuart's The Life of Spiders Debuts Off-Broadway, March 20 The Holderness Theater Company will present the premiere of The Life of Spiders, a new play by Kelly Stuart, at The Culture Project 45 Bleecker Street. Rebecca Holderness, the show, which opens March 20.

The cast includes Kevin Kuhlke, Chris Burns, Katheryn Foster, Tuomas Hil and Raïna von Waldenburg. The Life of Spiders follows "the story of a man in Belle Époque Paris who weaves the finest and most sought after silk he milks from spiders. In order to woo the object of his desire, he makes a Faustian contract to coax more silk from the spiders, to weave fabric for the finest clothing to present to his mistress."

Stuart is perhaps best known for the play Demonology, which played at Playwrights Horizons in 1996 and starred Marisa Tomei.
