News Kelsey Grammer to Direct "Vince Uncensored," Comedy Pilot Produced by Conan O'Brien Emmy Award winner Kelsey Grammer, who recently completed a Tony-nominated Broadway run in La Cage aux Folles, will direct "Vince Uncensored," a comedy pilot for CBS, according to deadline.com.

The pilot will be produced by late-night television host Conan O'Brien's Conaco production company and Warner Bros.

Written by Phoef Sutton, the comedy will star Emmy winner Michael Chiklis ("The Shield") as a man who decides to approach his life, work and family more honestly after an unexpected experience.

In addition to La Cage aux Folles, Grammer has appeared on Broadway in Macbeth and Othello, Off-Broadway in Sunday in the Park with George, Plenty, A Month in the Country and Quartermaine's Terms, and in the Reprise! concert of Sweeney Todd and a New York Philharmonic concert of My Fair Lady. He earned four Emmys for his work as psychologist Frasier Crane on "Frasier," a role he originated on "Cheers." He has been cast in the political drama series "The Boss" for Starz.
