News Ken Howard Will Join Leonardo DiCaprio, Judi Dench, Josh Lucas in Clint Eastwood's "J. Edgar" Tony and Emmy Award winner Ken Howard has joined the cast of "J. Edgar," the biopic chronicling the life of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, according to Variety.

Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood will direct a cast headed by Academy Award nominee Leonardo DiCaprio as Hoover, Ed Westwick, Damon Herriman, Armie Hammer and Josh Lucas. Tony and Academy Award winner Judi Dench is also reported to be part of the cast.

Dustin Lance Black, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter of "Milk," is penning the screenplay for the Warner Bros. film.

Howard will play U.S. Attorney General Harlan F. Stone. A Tony Award winner for Child's Play and an Emmy Award winner for "Grey Gardens" and the daytime children's program "The Body Human: Facts for Boys," he has appeared on Broadway in Rumors, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, The Norman Conquests, Seesaw, 1776 and Promises, Promises. He is the president of the Screen Actors Guild.
