News Ken Urban Play I (Heart) Kant Receives Reading April 5 Ken Urban's play about dissertations, heroin, death and incest, I (Heart) Kant, will get a reading on April 5 at The Greenwich Street Theatre at 547 Greenwich Street in Manhattan.

Laramie Dennis directs a cast that features Colleen Werthmann, Maria Striar, Kate Benson, Susan O'Connor and Travis York. Striar, a co-artistic director for Off-Broadway's Clubbed Thumb Theatre, recently acted in Anne Washburn's The Ladies. York is scheduled to appear in Washburn's The Internationalist in April. O'Connor is a downtown theatre favorite, seen in many plays by Daniel MacIvor.

Kant is described as "A Play for Four Female Voices." It has been produced at Los Angeles' Moving Arts Theatre Company, Seattle's Union Garage and Orange County's Rude Guerrilla Theatre Company.

The reading is at 7 PM.
