NY Musical Theatre Fest Kerry Butler and Fyvush Finkel Join Cast of NYMF's Party Come Here Kerry Butler, Fyvush Finkel and Karen Olivo will join the previously announced trio of Hunter Foster, Terrence Mann and Kaitlin Hopkins in Party Come Here, a new musical comedy in the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The David Kirshenbaum-Daniel Goldfarb show about sex and spirituality premieres Sept. 25-30 at the TBG Theatre.

"Part farce, part fable, Party Comes Here offers a hilarious collision of cultures as tantalizing as the sexiest city in the world," according to the producers. "Mistaken identity, spirituality, hope, family, sex—all set to irresistible Latin rhythms…This is an outrageous, oddball, optimistic, ohmygod, one-of-a-kind show."

The music and lyrics are by David Kirshenbaum (Summer of '42) and the book is by Daniel Goldfarb (Modern Orthodox). Will Frears will direct.

A reading of the musical took place in September 2005 at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 17th Annual Festival of New Musicals. The reading was directed by Lonny Prince and also featured Hunter Foster, Terrence Mann and Fyvush Finkel.

Fyvush Finkel began his acting career over 50 years ago in the Yiddish theatre in New York. He starred in the Off-Broadway hit Little Shop of Horrors for five years, and in two musical revues, Finkel's Follies and From Second Avenue to Broadway. Television audiences know him from "Picket Fences" and "Boston Public." Kerry Butler was most recently on Broadway as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. She portrayed Penny Pingleton in the original Broadway cast of Hairspray, and her other Broadway credits include Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Eponine in Les Misérables and Ms. Jones in Blood Brothers. Off-Broadway she was seen in Bat Boy The Musical, The "I" Word, Prodigal and The Folsom Head. She was also part of the cast of the new musical The Opposite of Sex, which premiered in San Francisco.

The TBG Theatre is located at 312 W. 36th Street.
