News Kevin Chamberlin Heads "Downstage Center" for Radio Show, Nov. 2 Kevin Chamberlin — who currently stars in the Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway revival of The Ritz — will appear on The American Theatre Wing's "Downstage Center" radio show Nov. 2.

The actor will discuss his latest stage role on the program, which airs Nov. 2 at 6 PM. The weekly program, which airs on XM's "On Broadway" channel 28, is repeated throughout the weekend.

Chamberlin returns to the Broadway stage after a recent turn in the City Center Encores! revue Stairway to Paradise. He received Tony nominations for his work in Dirty Blonde and Seussical and has also appeared in Chicago, My Favorite Year, Abe Lincoln in Illinois and Triumph of Love. The actor has also been seen in the films "Lucky Number Slevin," "Road to Perdition," "DieHard With a Vengeance," "In and Out" and "Christmas with the Kranks."

Joe Mantello directs the comedy revival starring Chamberlin and Rosie Perez (Reckless and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune), which began previews Sept. 15. The limited engagement opened Oct. 11 at Studio 54 for run a through Dec. 2. Billed as "an over-the-top comedy that takes place in a bathhouse in Manhattan," the farcical The Ritz concerns a man (Chamberlin) — hiding out from a mobster in the titular Turkish bath — who realizes he is actually in a gay bathhouse. He then takes on the guise of a big Broadway producer to avoid being discovered.

Brooks Ashmanskas (Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, The Producers) is also featured in a cast that includes Ashlie Atkinson, Patrick Kerr, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe, Terrence Riordan, Seth Rudetsky, Adam Sietz, David Turner, Lenny Venito, Ryan Idol, Teddy Coluca, Billy Magnussen, Mark Leydorf, Matthew Montelongo, Angela Pietropinto, Jeffrey Evan Thomas, Josh Breckenridge, Justin Clynes, Andrew Cooksey, Lukas Hassel, Nick Mayo and Dillon Porter.
