Taylor stars as a therapist with problems of her own. Chamberlin stars as the sarcastic and socially awkward Fred Smedresman, who works as the office manager in her psychiatry practice.

The pilot was written by best-selling author and practicing psychotherapist Amy Bloom.
Chamberlin has appeared on Broadway in Seussical as Horton the Elephant (Tony nomination), Dirty Blonde (Tony nomination), Chicago, My Favorite Year, Abe Lincoln in Illinois and Triumph of Love.
Taylor's stage credits include Three Sisters on Broadway, plus Halcion Days, Mud, What Did He See, Aven U Boys, Aunt Dan and Lemon and last year's Signature Theatre production of Landscape of the Body. Her film credits include "High Fidelity," "I Shot Andy Warhol," "Say Anything," "Girls Town" "The Addiction," "Pret-A-Porter," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," "Rudy," "Say Anything," "Mystic Pizza," "Factotum" and the television series "Six Feet Under," for which she received an Emmy nomination.
