News Kevin Gray, Elizabeth Stanley and Brynn O'Malley Open Jekyll & Hyde at Pittsburgh CLO June 14 The Pittsburgh CLO production of Jekyll & Hyde, staged by its original Tony-nominated star Robert Cuccioli, officially opens June 14 at the Benedum Center.

Cuccioli, who originated the titular roles in Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway, now helms the Frank Wildhorn-Leslie Bricusse musical that will run through June 26. He previously staged the gothic pop musical at the Westchester Broadway Theatre last fall. The Pittsburgh CLO production has choreography by Tony Stevens.

The cast includes Kevin Gray (The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon) as Jekyll/Hyde, Elizabeth Stanley (Xanadu, Million Dollar Quartet, Hello Again) as Lucy, Brynn O’Malley (Wicked) as Emma, George Dvorsky (42nd Street, She Love Me) as Utterson, Tim Hartman (Tale of Two Cities) as Sir Danvers and Maryanne Ishee (Phantom of the Opera) as Lady Beaconsfield/Nellie.

Completing the company are Fredi Bernstein, Al Bundonis, Nathaniel Burich, Michael Campayno, Corey Cott, Jeff Howell, Joe Jackson, Daniel Krell, Gary Marachek, Mary Nepi, Ashley Park, Tess Primack, Alison Rose, Haley Swindal, Martin Van Treuren, Ted Watts, Jr. and Lauren Zapko.

Songs included in the musical based on Robert Louis Stevenson's novel include "This Is the Moment," "Someone Like You," "A New Life," "Alive," "Take Me As I Am," "Once Upon a Dream," "In His Eyes" and "Dangerous Game."
