News Kieran Lynn's An Incident at the Border to Transfer to London's Trafalgar Studios 2 The world stage premiere production of Kieran Lynn's dark comedy An Incident at the Border is to transfer from London's Finborough Theatre to the Trafalgar Studios 2, beginning performances Aug. 20 prior to an official opening Aug. 22, for a run through Sept. 15. The play was recently broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

Directed by Bruce Guthrie and featuring Tom Bennett as Arthur, Florence Hall as Olivia and Marc Pickering as Reiver, it revolves around a couple who have gone for a romantic walk in the park, and suddenly find themselves on opposite sides of a new border. Under the rigorous eyes of a border guard, they find themselves caught between two nations on the verge of war. Playwright Kieran Lynn has been a member of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme and the Old Vic 24 Hour Plays. He recently completed a year-long attachment at Hampstead Theatre, where his play The Recurring Rise and Fall was presented. Last year, his play Pushing Up Poppies played at the Edinburgh Fringe after two successful runs at Theatre 503.
