From the mind of playwright John Dapolito comes the world premiere of this absurdist comedy about two reclusive drop-outs who are confronted by a trio of little people after eight years of "Cast Away"-like isolation. Dapolito also directs the production, which explores the violent American psyche.

The cast of Killer Midgets includes Ethan Crough, George Diehl, Jr., Joseph Kamal and David Steinberg (who is best known for his lead role as Meegosh in the film "Willow".)

This is Jersey-born Dapolito's first full-length work to see the stage. His other (one act) works include Augie's Ring and An Act of Kindness, which were both recently performed at the New Deal Theatre in Los Angeles.

Killer Midgets runs at the Pelican Studio, 750 Eighth Avenue (between 46th and 47th Streets). For tickets or more information, call (212) 502-8649. — by Ernio Hernandez
