Celebrity Autobiography – which began New York performances Jan. 28 – extended its run through March 24 and announced encore performances for May 5 and 12 at the Triad.
Created by Eugene Pack, Celebrity Autobiography features a cast of performers reading from the autobiographies and memoirs of the famous and infamous. The May performances have announced initial casting, including Dratch ("SNL"), Kind (Candide, The Producers), Sherri Shepherd ("The View"), comedienne Judy Gold, Kristen Wiig ("SNL"), Dayle Reyfel and the show's creator, Pack.
Among the celebrities whose personal stories are presented in the evenings are Elizabeth Taylor, Mr T, Tommy Lee, Sylvester Stallone, Ivana Trump, Vanna White, Star Jones, Kenny Loggins, Burt Reynolds, Loni Anderson, Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. The cast and what autobiographies are presented rotate on a weekly basis.
