Show times will be March 6 and 13 at 8 PM and March 8 and 15 at 2 PM. CTG artistic director Michael Ritchie said in a statement, "We've been waiting to hear the stories from the man himself and now he's living up to his word. How lucky are we!"
"He was a ragman's son who became a Hollywood legend and now, born storyteller Kirk Douglas at last steps onto the stage to reflect on his remarkable life and career," according to press notes. "Before I Forget is an intimate evening with one of the most affable, talented and mesmerizing icons of the screen."
The 92-year-old Douglas is an author, philanthropist and star of such classic films as "Spartacus," "Seven Days in May" and "Lust for Life." Douglas' Broadway credits include The Three Sisters, Kiss and Tell, Alice in Arms, The Wind Is Ninety, Woman Bites Dog and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
