Florida Stage in Manalapan will mount the premiere of the Ray Roderick-directed musical July 2-Sept. 5, and then Denver Center Attractions presents the show at The Buell Theatre in Colorado Sept. 15-Oct. 3.
Heaven Help Us! The Swingin' New Rat Pack Musical is written by James Hindman and Ray Roderick, with musical arrangements by John Glaudini. The cast includes Eddie Korbich, Marcus Neville, Adam Pelty, Julian Rebolledo and Jodi Stevens.
"It's heaven on earth in Vegas as Frank, Dino and Sammy get sent back to correct a 30-year-old white lie — and God only knows if they'll recognize each other in time to save their souls," according to the announcement. Billed as a combination of "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Ocean's Eleven," the musical features such beloved classics as "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," "High Hopes," "Me and My Shadow," "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" and "I've Got You Under My Skin."
Ray Roderick directed the Irving Berlin revue, I Love a Piano, at Florida Stage and for Denver Center Attractions.
