The panel discussion (with performances) will be held at the New Dance Group on West 38th Street in Manhattan. Louise Quick, who was Fosse's assistant on Pippin, will moderate the afternoon, which begins at 1 PM.
The three-hour event, presented by Dancers Over 40, will feature Richard Korthaze, who danced in the original companies of Pippin, Chicago and Dancin'; George Marcy, who performed in the original cast of Damn Yankees and in the revival of Billion Dollar Baby; Harvey Evans, who danced in Redhead and New Girl in Town; Gene Foote, who was seen in both the musical and movie version of Sweet Charity as well as in Broadway's Pippin and Chicago; Ken Urmston, who was part of the casts of New Girl in Town and Pippin; Johnny Nola, who was seen in New Girl in Town; Bill Guske, part of the casts of Redhead and Hail the Conquering Hero; and Gene Gavin, who danced in Little Me.
The afternoon will also boast performances of "Mr. Cellophane" by Richard Korthaze and "Those Were the Good Old Days" by George Marcy. David Lewis will accompany the performers and will also recall working as the rehearsal pianist for Pippin and Chicago. Fosse's interview on "The Dick Cavett Show" in the seventies will be shown on video before and after the panel discussion.
The panel discussion will be filmed and donated to the Dance Collection at the New York Public Library at Lincoln Center.
