News Krakowski, Stew, Arias, Shears and Hair Cast Set for "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" Benefit The cast of the recent production of Hair will join Tony Award winners Jane Krakowski and Stew for a benefit concert of Elton John's classic album "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" at the New Amsterdam Theatre Oct. 20.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Friends in Deed will present the star-studded benefit concert, which celebrates the 35th anniversary of the U.S. release of the acclaimed double album. Jeffrey Seller (In the Heights, Avenue Q) produces the event.

The 8 PM evening promises a line-up of performers from the theatre and music industry who will perform the album in the order in which it was originally produced.

Currently confirmed to perform such hits such as "Candle in the Wind," "Bennie and the Jets," "Harmony," "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" and the title song, are Krakowski (Nine, "30 Rock"), Stew (Passing Strange), Joey Arias (Arias with a Twist), Scissor Sisters front man and Tales of the City composer/lyricist Jake Shears, musicians Rufus Wainwright and Ben Folds, as well as the casts of Hair and The Lion King.
