Screen favorite and vocal theatre enthusiast (and Broadway alum) Kristen Bell will lead the upcoming musical comedy film Fantasy Camp. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bell will play a junior high school teacher who decides to pursue her true passions by attending a theatre camp for adults.

The STFfilm project is penned by Sid Karger and produced by Greg Silverman.

Bell, known to many for such screen projects as The Good Place and Frozen, has theatrical roots herself, having appeared on Broadway in The Crucible and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Last year, she reunited cast mates from a high school production of Into the Woods to recreate their performances for the ABC special Encore!.
