Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will offer concerts at Mohegan Sun beginning Sept. 18. Chenoweth will perform in the Mohegan Sun's new 69-seat cabaret through Sunday, Sept. 22. The gaming and entertainment resort, located in Uncasville, CT, will offer six shows by the former star of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Show times follow: Sept. 18 at 7:30 PM, Sept. 19 at 7:30 PM, Sept. 20 at 7:30 PM, Sept. 21 at 5 and 8 PM and Sept. 22 at 3 PM.
Kristin Chenoweth, who will open Lincoln Center's American Songbook series Oct. 11 and 12, made her New York theatrical debut opposite Bill Irwin in a production of Molière's Scapin and followed that with a lead role in Kander and Ebb's Steel Pier. Roles in Off-Broadway's A New Brain and the City Center Encores! productions of Strike Up the Band and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever ensued. Chenoweth also starred in her own, short-lived TV series "Kristin," and her other TV appearances include roles in "Frasier" and ABC's television adaptation of the musical Annie. She will also be featured in the TV production of Meredith Willson's The Music Man and the upcoming Broadway musical Wicked.
