News Kristin Chenoweth Joins Cast of DeVito-Broderick Film Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is currently enjoying film success in the hit new motion picture "RV," will be part of another screen comedy.

Hollywood Reporter says that Chenoweth will play Danny DeVito's wife in the upcoming film "Deck the Halls," which also features Odd Couple's Matthew Broderick. "Halls," which will begin shooting May 29 in Vancouver, will be released by 20th Century Fox on Nov. 22. John Whitesell is the director. "Deck the Halls," according to the industry paper, "revolves around two neighbors in a small New England town who go to war when one of them decides to decorate his house with so many Christmas lights that it will be nearly visible from space. The neighborhood is turned upside down as the two families try to discover the true meaning of Christmas."

Kristin Chenoweth, who received a Tony nomination for her work as Glinda in Stephen Schwartz's Wicked, has been seen on the New York stage in The Fantasticks, Scapin, Steel Pier, A New Brain, Epic Proportions, Strike Up the Band, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Apple Tree and Candide. The actress won her Tony Award for her performance as Sally Brown in the Broadway bow of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Chenoweth recently released her second solo recording, "As I Am" (Sony Classical), and her screen credits include "Kristin," "The West Wing," "The Music Man," "The Pink Panther," and "RV."

Chenoweth's upcoming films include "Stranger Than Fiction" and "Running with Scissors."
