The Tony and Emmy Award winner is one of several actors joining Emma Roberts in the movie.
Kristin Chenoweth will appear in Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy Holidate,Deadline reports. The Tony and Emmy winner joins the previously announced Emma Roberts.
The movie, penned by Tiffany Paulsen, will follow two single holiday haters (Roberts and Luke Bracey) who team up to be each other’s plus-ones for family functions and celebrations throughout the year.
In addition to Chenoweth, Roberts, and Bracey, the cast will include Jake Manley, Jessica Capshaw, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, Frances Fisher, and Manish Dayal. John Whitesell will direct.
Chenoweth last appeared on Broadway in On the Twentieth Century, earning a Tony Award nomination after previously being nominated for Wicked and winning for You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. She is currently attached to both a Tammy Faye Baker bio-musical and a musical adaptation of Death Becomes Her.
