Original cast member Kristolyn Lloyd ends her run as Alana Beck in Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen March 11 at the Music Box Theatre.

Phoenix Best, recently seen as Éponine in the national tour of Les Misérables, will take over the role of Alana beginning March 13. Best has also been seen in the Tony-winning revival of The Color Purple and regionally in Dreamgirls.

Hello, Dolly! alum Taylor Trensch officially took his first bow as Evan Hansen February 6. The actor succeeded Noah Galvin in the role created by Tony winner Ben Platt.

Dear Evan Hansen features a score by the Tony- and Oscar-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, A Christmas Story), a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson (Masters of Sex), choreography by Danny Mefford (Fun Home), and direction by multiple Tony nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal, If/Then).

Original cast members Laura Dreyfuss, Tony winner Rachel Bay Jones, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Tony nominee Mike Faist, Michael Park, and Will Roland have all extended their contracts and will remain with the musical through May.
