The 7:30 PM screening of Freida Lee Mock's film will be followed by a discussion with Kushner moderated by Daniel Gallant. "Wrestling with Angels" is broken into three acts — "As a Citizen of the World," "Mama, I'm a Homosexual Mama" and "Collective Action to Overcome Injustice" — and delves into Kushner's political views, his personal life and professional work. The film spans the course of 2001-2004, covering Kushner's work on Homebody/ Kabul, the John Kerry presidential campaign, his marriage, Brundibar and the Broadway opening of Caroline, or Change.
