Three Days of Rain, the Richard Greenberg play originally commissioned for nearby South Coast Repertory, has its Los Angeles premiere March 26-April 25, officially opening March 28. The drama kicks off the Evidence Room's new off-night theatre series. Pamela Gordon (Those the River Keeps) directs.

Rain explores how parents are perceived by their children when Walker, Nan and Pip, at the reading of their famous architect father's will, begin to formulate what their mother and father's life together was really like. In the second act, the children portray the parents, revealing how different reality was from the second generation's theories.

Greenberg, who was short-listed for the Pulitzer Prize for Three Days, is the author of Hurrah at Last, Night and Her Stars, Eastern Standard and The Author's Voice. His most recent comedy Everett Beekin had its world premiere at South Coast Repertory Theatre Sept. 8-Oct. 8, 2000.

Jason Adams, Alicia Hoge and Leo Marks star. Set designer Adams, a regular on "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" where he played Preston, returns to acting after a four years absense. Hoge is also the Evidence Room company director.

Tickets are $12. The Evidence Room is located at 2220 Beverly Boulevard. For reservations, call (213) 381-7118.
