News   La Soirée Announces Featured Acts for London Return to Roundhouse From Nov. 23

La Soirée, a night of live entertainment that is described as a heady cocktail of cabaret, new burlesque, circus sideshow and contemporary variety, returns to London's Roundhouse Nov. 23, for a season through Jan. 29, 2012.

Acts appearing will include variety legends The Skating Willers, comprising rollerskaters Jean-Pierre Poissonnet and Wanda Azzario in what is billed as their final swan-song season, amongst a line-up billed as "old friends, lost friends, new faces and some of the cabaret world's favourite stars." German acrobatic duo Chris-Iris, recently awarded the jury prize at the prestigious Leipzig Circus Fest 2011, are new to the troupe. Returning acts include Le Gateau Chocolat, the opera-singing male diva who wears lycra; aerial artists Katharine Arnold and Hugo Desmarais, who premiere a duet created specially for this season; Mario, Queen of the Circus, a leather-bursting reincarnation of Freddie Mercury; Nate Cooper, who dances on rollerskates while juggling razor-sharp machetes; and the Kiev-born hula hoop specialist Yulia Pykhtina.

Further acts are to be announced. To book tickets, contact the box office on 0844 482 8008, or visit www.la-soiree.com.
