News La Soirée, New Cabaret Show Featuring Stars of La Clique, to Play London Season La Soirée, featuring an international line-up of cabaret stars including Captain Frodo, The English Gents, David O'Mer and Miss Behave — who were all seen as part of La Clique — will set up base in a new venue for a Christmas season, beginning performances Oct. 12 prior to an official opening Oct. 21.

It is booking through Jan. 30, 2011, and will take place in a venue called Magic Mirrors, an auditorium of carved wood, polished mirrors, crystal and leadlight that will be sited on Upper Ground, behind the National Theatre. Hosted by Brett Haylock, who also previously hosted the La Clique seasons at the London Hippodrome and Roundhouse, the show will, according to press materials, revive "the passion, heart, style and good old-fashioned showmanship that made them London favourites," presenting "their delicious and twisted take on cabaret and variety in La Soirée – the umbrella under which they will perform for this Christmas." This troupe first performed together in Edinburgh, and they have gone on to perform around the world in Paris, Sydney, Stockholm and New York.
