Tamar's Revenge, one of the classical plays by the Spanish writer Tirso de Molina, opens in Madrid on December 11.
The revival, which is about incest and love affairs between brothers,was first shown in the Classical Theatre Festival in Merida. It is now being presented in Spain's capital at the Comedy Theatre in Madrid, one of the city's most traditional theatres which produces a great deal of classical plays.
The play has been staged by the National Company of Classical Theatre, directed by Jose Carlos Plaza. This revival was written by the poet Jose Hierro, with music by Mariano Diaz.
The cast members include Nuria Gallardo, Joaquin Notario and Miguel Foronda.
