The play, which had sold out its run, will extend until Nov. 19. Previews began on Sept. 26 in the Anspacher Theater. The opening is Oct. 10. Ed Harris stars. LaBute also directs. The play had its world premiere at the Everyman Palace Theatre in Cork, Ireland, on Nov. 23, 2005. Harris starred then as well.

Wrecks takes place during a funeral service. Harris plays Ed, a man who has just lost his wife of 30 years, JoJo. The relationship turns out to have been one of enduring love, but also founded on a secret of classical proportions.

Ed Harris received Academy Award nominations for his performances in "Pollock," "The Hours," "The Truman Show" and "Apollo 13." He recently completed filming the title role in "Copying Beethoven" and can currently be seen in "A History of Violence." The actor has appeared on Broadway in Taking Sides and Precious Sons, earning a Drama Desk Award for his work in the latter. Harris' other stage credits include Fool for Love (Obie Award), Prairie Avenue, Scar, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Grapes of Wrath, Sweet Bird of Youth and Simpatico (Lucille Lortel Award).
