The downtown troupe known for its ethnically diverse casts will feature Eric Bogosian performing approximately 100 monologues from his one-man shows from the 1980s and '90s. Bogosian will perform Oct. 1-20.
The monologues, which will be taken from plays like Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and Pounding Nails in the Floor with My Forehead, will differ at each performance.
The season will also feature Dominique Morisseau's Sunset Baby, a new play about a political prisoner and former black revolutionary who attempts to connect with his estranged daughter. Sunset Baby will begin performances Nov. 6.
The season will also include a new series of artist salons, which will feature performances and conversations with company members, including poet Craig "Mums" Grant (Arnold Jackson on HBO's "Oz") and Tony Award nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent).
This season is the first to be planned by the company's new artistic director, Mimi O’Donnell.
