The Drama League Directors Project is presenting week 14 at Joe’s Pub on Feb. 16 at 11:30 PM and Feb. 17 at noon.
Starring in the presentation will be Mary Beth Peil (Nine and The King and I on Broadway), Peter Gerety (The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Parks' Fucking A), Twinkle Burke, Carman Lacivita (Rose Rage), Sue Jean Kim, Kelly McAndrew (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway), Brian Nishii and Alex Webb.
Parks, a Pulitzer Prize winner for Topdog/Underdog, wrote one play a day for 365 days beginning in November 2002. Over 600 artistic organizations are producing the plays in 16 cities and regions all across the U.S. and Canada. In New York City, each week a different company takes a turn presenting a week's worth of plays.
