The May 13 benefit promises an evening composed of unknown or overlooked scenes and songs from award-winning musical theatre composers Stephen Sondheim and LaChiusa, as well as playwrights Christopher Durang and John Guare. LaChiusa, known for his musicals Marie Christine, Hello Again and The Wild Party, will join a roster of actors including Kurtz (Frozen), Lea DeLaria (On the Town), Jessica Hecht (Howard Katz), Marc Kudisch (The Glorious Ones), Reg Rogers (Proposals) and Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent).

Obie winner Lisa Kron (Well) hosts the 7 PM event that is staged by God's Ear director Anne Kauffman.

13P:Undone, presented by the Obie Award-winning 13P (Thirteen Playwrights) company, serves as the spring benefit for the organization that specializes in realizing full productions of new plays as an answer to "what the trend of endless readings and new play development programs is doing to the texture and ambition of new American plays," according to the 13P mission statement.

13P comprises playwrights Sheila Callaghan, Erin Courtney, Madeleine George, Rob Handel, Ann Marie Healy, Julia Jarcho, Young Jean Lee, Winter Miller, Sarah Ruhl, Katherine Ryan, Lucy Thurber, Anne Washburn and Gary Winter.

Tickets for 13P: Undone start at $100 and are available by phoning (212) 613-3119 or by visiting www.13p.org.

Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street.
