Founded by Lisa Spodak in 2004 in an effort to raise additional funds for her participation in Avon's Breast Cancer Walk, Project Teddy Bear auctions off individual stuffed bears signed by celebrities. A photograph of the celebrity holding the bear is also part of the package. Among the performers who took part in Project Teddy Bear 2008 are Kristin Bell, Pierce Brosnan, Kim Cattrall, Tom Cavanagh, Kathy Griffin, Jennifer Garner, America Ferrera, Michael McKean, Annette O'Toole, Sara Ramirez and David Schwimmer. Bidding on the aforementioned bears concludes late March 21.
