Emily Swanson will directs a cast that includes Trish LaRose (Back in the Day), Ethan Paulini (Back in the Day, The Sexless Years) and Dan Greenwood. Dirty Blonde, according to press notes, "explores the relationship between Jo and Charlie, two Mae West fans in New York as they realize their need for self-discovery and self-acceptance. This comedy includes recreations of key incidents in the life of Mae West, the legendary stage and screen star famous for her uninhibited sexuality. Through these recreations the audience is allowed a humorous and touching peek into the personal price Mae West paid for her need to constantly maintain her public image."
Sarah Chase serves as choreographer for the production that has musical direction by Scott Storr, set design by Ryan McGettigan, lighting design by Chris Ostrom and costume design by Robin McLaughlin.
Dirty Blonde runs through Oct. 19. Tickets are available by calling (508) 896-1888 or by visiting www.caperep.org. The Cape Cod Repertory Theatre is located on North Side Route 6A in East Brewster, MA.
