The 7 PM concert spotlights the songs of Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel. Loesel will accompany the New Voices — including Elisabeth Cernadas, Evan Fagin, Jeremy Jordan, Max Quinlan and Morgan James — on selections from his and Burkell's songbook. Barbara Anselmi is the evening's musical director and will also be featured on the piano.

The New Voices series was founded by composer Scott Alan to "showcase some of today's brightest new talent in New York." Alan's debut recording, "Dreaming Wide Awake" — which features performances by Liz Callaway, Stephanie J. Block, Eden Espinosa, Cheyenne Jackson and Jonathan Groff, among others — is available by visiting www.scottalan.net.

Liz Larsen received Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle Award nominations for her work in The Most Happy Fella and has also appeared on Broadway in Hairspray, The Smell of the Kill, The Rocky Horror Show, Damn Yankees, Fiddler on the Roof and Starmites.

Burkell and Loesel's musical Six of One received a Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation grant, an ASCAP workshop, a CAP21 workshop and a production in the 2007 Philly Fringe Festival. Their revue, Love Songs and Other Crap, received a MAC Award nomination, and their new musical, Ella Minnow Pea, will be produced in the fall at the University of Michigan.

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street. There is a $12 music charge and a two-drink minimum; for reservations call (212) 255-5438 or visit theduplex.com.
