LOS ANGELES -- On Fri. Feb. 6, Candlefish Theatre Co. presents its production of Thomas Babe's Demon Wine at 1540 Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood. Demon Wineis Babe's "surrealistic tale of the rise and fall of underworld hit man Warren 'Jimmie' Pierce, whose victims have the disconcerting habit of returning from the 'utter blackness' until his appreciation from such simple pleasures as a cup of coffee which he used to care about like life itself becomes like sawdust in his mouth," said a company spokesperson.
Staged by Ken Rugg, the play's cast includes John Ross Clark, Bo Crowell, Jeff Ham, Roy Samuelson, Kim Seder, Blake Steury, Nathan Steury and Dawn Worrall.
The play is being performed Thu.-Sat. at 8 PM through Mar. 21. For tickets, call (213) 460-2080.
