LOS ANGELES -- Lisa Chess, Heather McClurg and Michele Palermo head the cast of The Sisters 3, opening Oct. 16 at the Gardner Stages for a five-week run. Written by Palermo, the play deals with a diner in Burbank owned by three sisters who were the stars of a 60s sitcom. "Still dreaming of a comeback, they become mesmerized by someone from the past who comes into the restaurant looking for the once-famous sisters," said a company spokesperson. "He's a Pied Piper of the 90s, preaching his own mantra: 'the past is history, learn from it. The future is a mystery, dream of it. But the present? It's a gift. Open it.' "

Joining director Scott Segall's cast are Ivan Allen, Susan Kussman, Alex Craig Mann, Alex Nevil and Daniel Wantland. The Gardner Stages is at 1501 N. Gardner in W. Hollywood. For information, call (310) 281-8664.
